Stan O’Bannon is a watercolor artist based in Hart County, Georgia. Watercolor is his primary medium and lifelong passion. He began drawing as a child and discovered watercolor at the age of 14 after being mentored by Ernest Brownlee, a pivotal influence who introduced him to the discipline and depth of the medium.

Over the years, Stan has shown his work in numerous juried exhibitions, earning awards and recognition along the way. After nearly two decades of dedication and persistence, he achieved Signature Member status with the Georgia Watercolor Society—a milestone that reflects both his technical growth and long-term commitment to his craft. His work has been exhibited nationally and collected internationally, with paintings in Canada and China.
